7 New fish discovered.

The smithsonian dicovered seven different distince species of the bleeny when there were said to be only three. "Starkisa" blennies are native to shallow to moderately deep rock waters. Near the Coral reefs in the Western Atlantic and eastern pacific. These bennies have been studied for over 100 years. Most adults have been barcoded through out the coral reefs. Scientists noticed contradictions between preliminary genetic data and current species calssifications. This new discovery is a perfect example of how DNA barcoding is illuminating species.
I personally think this is a great discovery. It shows how easy it can be to miss or overlook certain types or new evolvements of new creatures. Even though they discovered new species of the same fish that still opens up windows for new discovery. Caribbean reef fish are broken up into thousands of classifications. As where the Bennies, Scientist might and should look into these all the types of fish in the carribean to see if there are anymore fish or species we missed.
