acid oceans demand greater reef care

Summary: The more humans polute and warm the worlds ocean's with carbon emissions the harder it will be to save our coral reefs. An international scientific team finds that acidic oceans and global warming combine along with overfishing and nutrient runoff weakening the world's coral reef'f right when they are struggling to survive.Warmer conditions over periods of time cause mass coral deaths. A failure to rapidly stabilize and reduce the CO2 in the earth's atmosphere is likely to lead to significant loss key of framework builders. It makes clear that both policy changes on emissions and local management measures are required to secure a future for coral reefs.

Opinion: I feel global warming and way too much carbon dioxide thats on the earth right now is a big problem. We as human beings should be poluting the world less and instead making a safer place for our children in the future and their children. There are lots of alternatives to choose from that are healthier for our oceans and earth. One big alternative is recylcing instead of just dumping in the trash then it sitting on land or ending up in our oceans. Everyone can help the world become a healthier place by effort because whatever we do on land doesnt only effect us it effects the oceans and the air as well.
