Antibacterial Soaps: Being Too Clean Can Make People Sick, Study Suggests

The University of Michigan School of Public Health found a new study that they suggest. They found that young people who wash their hands all the time with antibacterial soaps containing triclosan may suffer with more allergies, and may not treat the immune system positively. Triclosan is used in many products such as antibacterial soaps, toothpaste, diaper bags, pens, etc. It is also a chemical compound and environmental toxicant which is shortly called EDC's. EDC's (endocrine- disrupting compounds) are believed to effect human health by affecting hormones, researchers found.
I believe that this study is true. I have heard that if you clean and wash your hands all the time that your body just gets used to the substance and it just doesn't work anymore. I have been doing this action a lot lately just because my immune system is down from me having Mono, and i don't want to catch any little virus that is going around. I hear its not the best if you wash your hands all the time, but you should do it as much as possible so you will just stay sanitized! So if you always wash your hands you might want to cut it down a notch. It is healthy for you, but too much is not to healthy after all.
