New Power System in Development

http://www.macroevolution.net/power-system.html
Scientists in the UK are working to create a power system that will power, heat, and cool homes without emitting carbon dioxide. The process involves growing plants that will produce seeds with excess oil to burn for electricity. The waste heat from the system will be used for heating homes and water, and can be converted to cool homes. Also, as the plants grow in size, they will produce more seeds and be able to convert more carbon dioxide from the air into oxygen. This power system will be a self contained power source, that may even help clean the existing atmosphere of its greenhouse gases.

Opinion

I feel that this new development is an excellent discovery. Not only could it one day power homes, but it may also reduce greenhouse gases. This can help halt , or maybe even lessen the effects of our flamboyant carelessness as to how much carbon dioxide we produce as a society. It has been proven that climate change is happening, and I feel that we, as inhabitants of this planet must attempt to leave a smaller impact. This new energy-making process could change the way energy is produced for the better.
