Chimp yawning may be a way to socialize. Studies show that empathy causes yawning. Chimps only yawn when they see another familiar chimp yawn. Same for humans; they only yawn when members of the same social class yawn. Same concept applys with pain.
This article may not mean much but it was interesting. At least they're advancing in the study of monkeys. Yawning is contagious but why did they discover this?? This concludes my article. Thanks for reading :)
