http://www.biologynews.net/archives/2011/04/29/through_unique_eyes_box_jellyfish_look_out_to_the_world_above_the_water.html

Scientists have recently discovered that box jellyfish have eyes on top of their heads. Out of their 24 types of eyes, box jellyfish have 4 always on top of their heads. Currently little is known about their visual system. Although they do know that there are 24 types of eyes, 2 pairs in each. This could open up a whole new world for the study of jellyfish.

I find this quite interesting. I would not have known that jellyfish even had eyes without this article. That did not occur to me. Surprisingly, they have almost 100 eyes. No wonder they seem so alert and focused! I hope they learn more about them in general, not just their visual system.
