One in 10 kids found with a taste disorder

Summary:
People all over the world are doing research on children between the ages 8 and 10 and found out that 1 in 10 kids have a taste disorder. To do this research, scientists made 40 random drinks with different stuff in them and had the kids point out what it was. The disorder may partly explain the rise of childhood obesity. The South Korean study found that children with taste disorders were heavier than those without. This could explain some of the obesity problem because losing the ability to taste, could make children want to taste sweeter foods, or some food that has a stronger taste.

Opinion:
I chose this article because in class we are learning about genetic disorders, and this is a disorder that is growing, and i thought people should know that 1 in 10 kids only between the ages 8 and 10 have a taste disorder, and this could be a problem scientists might want to find a cure for if they figure out a taste disorder really does have something to do with obesity.
