Pig stem cell transplants
A group of students are studying the stem cells part in fixing damaged retina tissue . They are using pigs to help research treatments for humans . All though they have found some similarities between the two repairing human retinas is still a challenge . Only a small part of the retina has been transplated . They are continuing to research this . I think this opens new opportunities for science . The people that has problems in the eye should have a little bit of hope . Now that they have opened a small door in this retina transplant now it will open hundreds of more . With research today they will be able to transplant it in no time . It will be fixed
