So for my next series of scientific icons I chose to do the maddest scientists of all time.To kick things off...Frankenstein. Well, not exactly. Dr.Seregei Bryukhonenko was a Soviet scientist during the time of WWI. His mission or brilliant "stroke of genius" was to find a way to make humans immortal but to start his experimentation he used severed dog heads. His experiment involved the use of his famous invention the autojektor; a heart and lung machine that enabled the decapitated heads to still eat, drink, and most importantly stay alive.
One day he decided to change the animal of chose in his experiment; this time he was going to use snakes. This plan worked surprisingly but not before the snake violently attacked Dr.Bryukhonenko killing him in a matter of minutes. His experiment succeeded in his death. He chose to play with fire by looking for immortality too bad he didn't live to see it through.Talk about irony.
