Newly Discovered Deep Sea Lobster

Jesse Ausubel has discovered a new type of deep sea life. It is a lobster called the dinochelus ausubeli. It's name means terrible and fearful claw. It has a large, long and spiny claw and a smaller claw on the left side. Found near the Phillipines, it has well-developed eystalks and an inverted T-plate in the front of its mouth.

I think that with this new discovery, it opens up doors to new discoveries of ocean life. This shows that many new animals are still out there to find. There are many gaps in our knowledge on deep-sea ocean life and this helps close the gap. Hopefully, more technology will be made so we can discover even more. Finding different animals can help with other problems and hopefully this new lobster could contribute.
